Travis Moore was an amazing, smart, and talented young man who tragically lost his life in February 2007 at the young age of 17. Sixteen years later, we remember his life, legacy, and the positive impact that he left. Travis attended West Charlotte High School. He was a member of the football and track teams and was consistently an honor roll student. To know him was to love him.
In addition to the program’s overall mission, the founder added a scholarship to honor her
brother. The scholarship, named after her brother Travis Moore, is the “Walk It Like I Talk It” scholarship. Students must meet certain requirements to apply for and receive this scholarship.
This scholarship gives priority to graduating seniors attending West Charlotte High School, however, any graduating senior who resides in Charlotte, NC is also eligible to apply.
We greatly appreciate your consideration to donate to our scholarship program. We ask that you consider making your charitable contribution to this organization, not just once, but annually or as often as you can to support another student to become all that he or she can be.
